Do women find men with tribal tattoos sexy? I really like my tattoos. I've got an arm band around my right bicep, a biggish design on my left and 2 smaller ones on each of my shoulder blades. They are all hidden under t-shirts but fully exposed under vest tops. I am 6' tall and slim but toned and I think they compliment my physique. However when I meet a women should I explain that I'm tattooed, or just turn up in a vest top confidently and not say anything.

What do tribal tattoos mean? I've got a few tribals on me... I didn't get anything that had a meaning, I just had the artist draw up some designs that looked cool and put 'em on me... Ok ....will someone explain the attraction people have for Tribal Tattoos? Don't get me wrong......a person has to live with their own ink...but I would scrape my skin off if I woke up from a binge with tribal on my body. Tribal definately has its place....on the skin of people that come from a South Pacific heritage.... There is a survey on the tattooartists website about the type of tattoo they were most likely asked to cover-up and tribal was #2.....right behind Names. Which tells me that most tribal is chosen on a whim based on its "cool" look. If I'm wrong please set me straight. thanks
Mixing tribal, celtic and Maori tattoos? Is it seen as stupid to have a mix of celtic, maori and tribal tattoos? Before you ask i'm not one of those people that just want tattoos to look cool to their friends or hard to other people. I love the idea of body art and i get tattoos for me, not anyone else. I already have a Celtic band thistle on my right arm. and over the summer i hope to get a Maori style tattoo with tartan sections on my left arm and a tribal on the top of my back. How are Tribal Tattoos viewed by Thai people? I'm Cherokee/European descent and I have several large tribal-esque tattoos. On my back and arms and legs. Some are Cherokee proverbs in Cherokee script and some are just tribal designs. Some are rather big. How will this be viewed by Thai people? Are they exposed to a lot of Native American or Tribal cultures? Please post. Thanks. My tattoos are apart of my culture (and my people's for thousands of years) and in my daily life, they're considered beautiful. Far from trashy and low class by my family's view. That's not really how Native American tattoos are done anymore.

How do I explain my tattoos to my parents? I have tribal tattoos on my upper arms and shoulder blades which I love. These can only be seen when I'm in the nuide or wearing a vest top. I am over eighteen and still live with my parents. They are very conservative and I can't face telling them, however they may find out if seen without a shirt on when leaving bathroom etc. I like wearing vest tops partly to show them off and it's a nuisance not being able to wear them in the house.

Tribal Tattoos and Hairy Guys? I am a hairy guy considering a tattoo. I don't really want to shave or trim any area where I get a tattoo. I would also like for the tattoo to not look wrong since I have moderate hair in that area, not enough to cover a potential tattoo. Basically I am wondering would a tribal tattoo work better in a semi-hairy area or do you think any particular style of tattoo that can work? What are your most hated types of tattoos? I find myself to be a tattoo elitist. I, personally, love Traditional American tattoos. But I can appreciate the art of Japanese style, Grafitti style, etc. The key, though, is ART. So many tattoos nowadays are pure crap! I know I can't be the only person who is a tattoo elitist... Tribal tattoos? why do so many people get them when it has nothing to do with them, they just think it looks cool. How much does it cost to get a black tribal sleeve tattoo? Hi there i am getting George Clooney tattoo done full sleeve going up to my neck. I contacted a couple of tattoo artists to find out how much it would cost. 1 of them told me £850 and the other told me £1000. My uncles best friend is a tattoo artist and has his own shop etc so i asked my uncle of course if his pal could do it and told him exactly what i was looking for. the guy owns his tattoo shop and booked me in to see him to get it done, when i asked my uncle how much it was costing he told me that the guy was very busy and would have to do it in hourly sessions and it would take a maximum of 6 sessions. He said he would charge me £30 an hour which totals £180. This guy has been doing tattoos for 32 years and it seems like very cheap compared to what i was quoted in other tattoo places. Why have so many people go for a tribal tattoo?
