How much do tattoo studios pay for tattoo flash/pre-designed tattoos?

Thanks. No when tattoo shops BUY flash/pre-designed tattoos from other people, how much do they pay for them?

  1. they charge by time. so however big it is or complicated.. what ever has an influence over how long it will take... im from England and mine was £60 an hour. it doesn't work out any cheeper getting flash tattoo's so you should always go a bit more origional.
  2. What do you mean pay for? Shops don't pay for designs. If you go to a shop with a bunch of designs on the walls it isn't a good shop. They just want to get you in and out and take you for your money. Artists CREATE designs for you on the spot. Why would a shop do that? They CREATE designs for you. Buying Tattoo Flash designs is just plain stupid. Why would you want something so generic?!?
  3. As an artist, I'm guessing what you mean is that if you draw some flash, How much can you sell your designs for. If that is indeed your question, then I'd say, not much. Most of the time, the Tattoo shop already has on staff an artist that does very little all day except come up with fresh designs. You might get lucky and sell something if it's something they don't already have but I'd say nine times out of ten, they will look it over, and just pirate your idea when you leave. It would be better to hold on to your ideas, and learn to tat.
  4. I have no idea what you mean by this question.
